Mob Wives: Drita and Karen Twitter fight explodes following Big Ang funeral accusations
The ongoing Drita and Karen Twitter fight just went full-blown nuclear! The two have disagreed for days over what was and wasn’t requested of Karen Gravano during last week’s funeral for Big Ang; now, both women have decided to let their feud go very malicious–and very, very public.
The roots of this particular Drita and Karen Twitter fight go back to a report, from just a few days ago, that Karen and new cast member Brittany Fogarty were both asked (or told outright) not to attend Big Ang’s funeral. Apparently, the pair were “banned” from having anything to do with the services because their fathers, Sammy “The Bull” Gravano and John Fogarty, cooperated with authorities to bring down fellow mobsters a generation ago. It’s been reported that Big Ang didn’t want any rats at her funeral, and so Karen and Brittany were told to stay away.
However, photos of guests departing the funeral clearly show Karen alongside Big Ang’s family and the rest of the Mob Wives cast:
Additionally, Carla Facciolo shared a photo of Karen among the mourners at Big Ang’s Staten Island bar following the funeral:
Since then, Karen came to believe that Drita is apparently the source of the stories about she and Brittany being banned–and she decided to launch a new assault in the Drita and Karen Twitter fight. Here’s a screencap of Karen’s accusations and her responses to Mob Wives fans who tried to get her to remember Big Ang instead of lashing out at Drita: 
Of course, Drita wasn’t keeping quiet during all of this. She unleashed her own barrage of insults, and brought Brittany herself into the Drita and Karen Twitter fight, after Brittany took credit for leaking the story to the media in the first place: 
Things look like they’ve cooled down somewhat over the last few hours–on Twitter, anyway. This afternoon, Karen took to Instagram with a not-so-subtle dig at Drita and her detractors:

It seems a safe bet that the Drita and Karen Twitter fight will continue at least through Mob Wives‘ final season and up to the reunion special–which, as Drita herself recently implied, should be full of confrontation:
