Kelly Osbourne blasts report about falling off the wagon
Radar posted a story today about Kelly Osbourne claiming from inside sources that the celebrity had gone off the rails on a crazy train by falling off the wagon. Kelly, who has been sober since February of 2009, reminded the world that she is Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter by putting the site and the report on blast.
In the report these sources state among other things that:
“Kelly is definitely off the wagon again — at least when it comes to drinking. I’ve seen her out drinking cocktails, beer and champagne numerous times, and I’ve seen her pretty unsteady on her feet too.”
The selling point for the article is a photo that is supposed to reveal a drunken looking Osbourne mugging for a camera at a post Golden Globes award party. The big problem with that is that Kelly wasn’t at any post awards party and Radar has since made a correction. They’re now stating that the image in question, and the night of drunkenness attributed to Kelly, happened at the The Art of Elysium event at Union Station on Saturday night.
An eyewitness at the event said:
“Kelly was so wasted. At one point she almost fell back and I had to catch her!”
The outspoken daughter of the Prince of Darkness let it loose on Twitter in regards to all of this. Let’s have it MissKellyO!
Kudos to Kelly for her sobriety and her willingness to, shall we say, address rumors.
