Miley Cyrus tweets threatening message directly to her father, Billy Ray

Miley Cyrus has a message for her father, Billy Ray Cyrus… We’re just not entirely sure what it means.

Along with the tweet, Miley attached this picture of her with an unidentified woman.

Interestingly, the tweet was erased just four minutes after it was posted. In its place was another message from Miley: “Wtf? My twitter was just actin all types of cray!”

If the message was indeed from Miley, it seems to imply that Billy Ray has been healing up his Achy Breaky Heart with the help of another woman. That is particularly natural assumption, considering the timing of the tweet. Miley’s mother, Tish Cyrus, filed for divorce earlier this month. She cited irreconcilable differences and asked for full custody rights for the couple’s youngest daughter, Noah. (However, the estranged couple was pictured getting pretty cozy this weekend.)

Shortly after Tish filed for divorce, Miley took to Twitter with a similar note for her father — although it carried a less threatening tone: “Since your text and email obviously aren’t working would you like to talk like this?”

Now it seems that Billy Ray is still avoiding conversations with his daughter. It also seems that Miley has a large degree of influence over the state of her parents’ relationship. Billy Ray previously filed for divorce in 2010, but the couple repaired their fractured relationship before legally dissolving their marriage.

At the time, Billy Ray said, “I’ve dropped the divorce. Things are the best they’ve ever been… I feel like I got my Miley back in a way. I feel like we are the daddy and daughter that we were before Hannah Montana happened.”

Even though it’s impossible to know the full story, Billy Ray certainly hasn’t come across as Father of the Year in the past. After leading his daughter to Hollywood, Billy Ray has been vocally critical of her decisions.

It’s bad enough to have a parent’s disapproval. Having a parent express that disapproval to some of the country’s largest media outlets? That’s enough to make any young person a little resentful.
