In the last few months the Kardashians have released a number of funny lip-synched videos including a full-family version of Katy Perry’s “E.T.” and Kendall and Kylie giving “Firework” the Brokeback Mountain treatment. But, silly and fun music videos based on musical hits of the day isn’t new for reality television’s Royal Family as evidence by this clip of Kris Jenner performing the song “I Love My Friends” set to the tune of Randy Newman’s “I Love L.A.”
The video was recorded in 1985 in honor of Kris Jenner’s 30th birthday and features numerous friends and family members including Kris’ husband Rob Kardashian’s client O.J. Simpson, who demonstrates in the clip just how much Kris loves her friends:
This video deserves an entire blog dedicated to it. For me to try to tackle it in any manner with a single post is just ridiculous. There are Olivia Newton John hairdos, treadmills, seemingly hundreds of family photos and guest appearances by the likes of O.J. and… Michael Jackson?!? So, all I will do is type up the lyrics for you, which are credited to Kourtney, Kimberly and Khloe at the end of the clip.
