Who are the Listed Sisters? Lex and Alana LeBlanc do double duty on HGTV

Who are the Listed Sisters 3

Who are the Listed Sisters of HGTV fame? Alana and Lex LeBlanc, Nashville-based realtor and designer siblings, are exploring a new variant on their network’s tried-and-true family formula. Unlike HGTV mainstays Fixer Upper and fellow newcomers Good Bones, which highlight the renovation of a single home, Listed Sisters is more like the classic Love It or List Itexcept that Lex and Alana both fix up each family’s old house and simultaneously help them find a new one.

It’s a heady challenge, but one Lex and Alana LeBlanc were already familiar with before HGTV came calling: they started their own design firm, LAVA Home Design, in 2013.

Here’s a little more information about Listed Sisters, courtesy of HGTV:

Identical twins Alana and Lex are the ultimate combination when it comes to real estate and home design. With realtor Alana’s endless knowledge of the housing market and designer Lex’s fearless creative style, these sisters are helping their clients renovate their homes into hot properties so they can sell them for a premium and move into their dream location. The only thing these Listed Sisters know better than reimagining homes is each other.

Who are the Listed Sisters Lex

So–who are the Listed Sisters? Lex LeBlanc, pictured above, is the older of the twins by a scant two minutes. She focuses on redesign and decoration, which have been her fields of expertise for a decade, following her 2006 graduation from the New York School of Interior Design. Her focus is client-based; according to an interview she gave before Listed Sisters premiered, “The first thing I do when designing a room is sit with the client and find out how they intend to use the space….I love figuring out my clients aesthetic and creating a space that is a perfect representation of their design personality.”

Outside of her busy work life, Lex is a mother of two–here’s a photo of her son Alister and daughter Vivien:

Who are the Listed Sisters Alana

As for Alana LeBlanc, the former Las Vegas bartender cut for Nashville to try her hand at real estate just three years ago, and has won accolades since then. “My experience in the service industry helped me develop my customer service skills,” Alana explained, “and I carried that experience with me into the hard and challenging work of real estate.”

Indeed, even before Listed Sisters boosted the sisters’ profile, Alana’s dedication was clear: “I believe you get back what you put into something, so doing my absolute best every time is the only option for success in this career.”

Like Lex, Alana is also a mother to two children:

The best news for the sisters and for fans of their show is that HGTV has already ordered Listed Sisters Season 2! The casting call has gone out, meaning that you can audition to be a part of the show, if you’re so inclined. Probably the strictest requirement is that you live in the greater Nashville area; beyond that, you’ll need to be at least 21 years old, have a minimum renovation budget of $18,000, and, in addition to a few other necessities, “be outgoing, energetic, and FUN!” Those caps are in the official casting call, which you can check out for yourself right here.
