The latest turn in the ongoing Kylie Jenner and Tyga drama is a sharp one–and, as is often the case, it involves Tyga’s baby mama Blac Chyna. According to statements recently made by Blac’s BFF Amber Rose, Tyga was trying to get with Blac at the same time he was trying to get back into Kylie’s arms. Kylie denies the rumors…but could they be true?
Devoteés will recall that the 25-year-old rapper spent the better part of this past spring at the center of the swirling Kylie Jenner and Tyga drama, following Kylie’s separation from and eventual split with him. “My father’s courage convinced me to stand up for myself,” Kylie said, at the time, and Tyga went the extra mile to show Kylie he really did love her: he got an arm tattoo of her name, toyed with the idea of canceling his entire European tour to be with her, and he pulled out all the stops via a romantic picnic on a college campus, complete with private stroll.
All that wooing did the trick. According to Amber Rose, though, it was all a lie. Rose is the nude model for the latest issue of GQ, and she dished on the ongoing Kylie Jenner and Tyga drama for the publication.
“I really went in on Tyga,” Rose said. “He’d been texting Blac Chyna, saying, ‘I really want my family back’—but he was out with a 17-year-old.”
And Rose didn’t stop there. When asked for her current thoughts on the Kardashian family–particularly, on a certain filmic exploit that helped launch the family into superstardom–the 32-year-old former stripper did not hold back. “I said, ‘Your sister has a career because your other sister made a sex tape and put the whole family on.’ I think it’s f*cking awesome that she did a sex tape and made millions of dollars for her family. But let’s not forget where we came from. Because I didn’t.”
Tyga, for his part, appeared unconcerned…
…which might be because Kylie has since turned her back on Rose’s comments, reportedly calling them “lame.” According to a close friend, Kylie thinks the whole GQ piece is just another one of Rose’s attempts to cash in on Kardashian fame.
“This is the same old thing Blac Chyna‘s been taunting Kylie with for the past 6 months,” said the friend. “[Blac] claims Tyga was texting her and saying he wanted to get his family back together, she says she has proof but when Kylie called her out on it and wanted to see the proof she never came through with it. Now Amber Rose is talking about the same thing, Kylie thinks it’s so lame. She thinks they should grow up.”
