Is Gwen Stefani having a breast lift? Star reportedly contemplates surgery ahead of album release

Gwen Stefani has long been the subject of rumors regarding plastic surgery. Now, as she releases a new single and video and preps her third solo album, some of those rumors have returned–in the form of a possible breast lift for the No Doubt and solo sensation. Gwen’s been on a hot streak since splitting with former husband Gavin Rossdale earlier this year. But are the Gwen Stefani breast lift rumors true?

According to a new report, Stefani might have a breast lift performed before she releases her third solo album–the first video from which, for the song “Used To Love You,” she premiered just this week. The album doesn’t yet have a title, track listing, or release date–but PR buzz is strong, and the Gwen Stefani breast lift rumors soon followed.

“She swore she would have them done,” claims the report, “after giving birth last year to Apollo.” That child, whose full name is Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale, was the third for Rossdale and Stefani–and one they’d also wanted for awhile.

“She’s been thinking about it for a while,” added the source in the report. And, indeed, that statement checks out with the first.

As for Stefani’s post-Rossdale love life, the source claims Gwen is “getting excited at the thought of meeting someone new.”

The rumor about Gwen having breast implants done has persisted for years, but has never been proven definitively. For instance, if you compare the photos above with the gallery of Gwen stefani in a bikini at St. Barts in 2010, and further contrast those with, say, any No Doubt video from the mid-90s, it’s difficult to discern a difference. Nonetheless, the rumors persist–and it looks like one more will soon be added to their number.

In the meantime, here’s the brand-new video for Stefani’s track “Used To Love You.” The clip is drawing raves for its raw emotion and powerful message, and, in a day and a half, has already been viewed one and a half million times on YouTube.
