Father’s Day is usually a pretty straight-forward holiday, but, when your dad recently transitioned to a woman, it can be a little complicated. That didn’t stop Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars Kendall Jenner and Khloe Kardashian from expressing their love and gratitude for Caitlyn Jenner, as they both shared photos and heart-warming messages for Caitlyn, thanking her for being their dad.
Kendall, who got very uncharacteristically emotional during the E! “About Bruce” special, shared a touching photo being kissed by her dad as a child along with a very heartfelt message:
Wrote Kendall,
My whole life this soul was my daddy, and just because your appearance is different now doesn’t mean you were any less of a father to me my entire life. Happy Father’s Day to the person who raised me, and taught me everything I know, my hero.
Khloe Kardashian also took to Instagram to share Father’s Day well wishes to both her real dad, Robert Kardashian, as well as her step-dad Caitlyn.
Khloe shared the photo of Robert with Bruce (at the time) above and wrote, “Thank you Lord for blessing me with not one phenomenal father but I was lucky enough to have two. ♥♥♥ Happy Father’s Day!!!”
Caitlyn’s other children and step-children haven’t shared Father’s Day wishes on social media (yet), although Kylie Jenner did tweet last night that she’s “Gotta make it home in time for Father’s Day.”
I’m not sure what the correct holiday is to honor Caitlyn, but I have to side with Kendall in that Caitlyn was Bruce Jenner and filled the role of dad to all of his children, so I think today is her day. Happy Father’s Day Caitlyn! 🙂

And Kim Kardashian has since posted a Happy Father’s Day message to Robert Kardashian as well as “all of the amazing dads out there!”
