REPORT Michael Strahan preparing to join Good Morning America

ABC’s Good Morning America continues its casting makeover! Sam Champion announced he was leaving to join the Weather Channel back in December, and it was only a couple days ago that it was revealed Josh Elliot would be leaving to join NBC Sports after he reportedly could not reach a deal with ABC despite several months of intense negotiations. Now CNN is reporting that Live with Kelly and Michael co-host Michael Strahan is preparing to join the GMA crew!

It was announced yesterday that Good Morning America weatherman Sam Champion would be leaving the show to join The Weather Channel, and taking over his job as the weekday weather anchor would be GMA‘s current weekend weather anchor, meteorologist Ginger Zee. Unlike her predecessor Sam, who was famously photographed strolling the beach in a very revealing Speedo swimsuit earlier this year, Ginger is rarely (if ever) photographed in revealing attire such as swimsuits or bikinis. So, imagine my surprise when I ran across these sexy retro pin-up photos of Ginger Zee from back in 2010!!!

Good Morning America is losing the greatest name in weather as it was announced today that Sam Champion will be leaving the show after seven years to host a morning show and serve as managing editor for The Weather Channel. Filling Champion’s shoes will be another fun-monikored meteorologist as ABC announced Ginger Zee will be replacing SamCham as the GMA weekday weather anchor. Robin Roberts diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome

For my money, the very best morning news host, Robin Roberts, of Good Morning America has revealed that she’s been diagnosed with MDS or myelodysplastic syndrome. This is a medical problem that came about from her breast cancer treatment she received approximately 5 years ago. The candid Roberts posted a statement explaining what has happened to her and why she fully intends on beating MDS, a disease of the blood and bone marrow that was once called pre-leukemia. Read on for a portion of Roberts’ statement, a photo of her sister Sally-Ann Roberts who will be donating marrow and why I believe Robin when she states she will beat MDS.
