Carmela says Jeremiah Raber tried to shoot her, he says she conspired to kill him as public meltdown continues

We reported yesterday that Return To Amish couple Carmela and Jeremiah Raber are in the midst of a very acrimonious split that is playing out publicly on Facebook. Their Facebook fighting has continued, and it reveals a hellish relationship full of lies, mental abuse, physical violence, and alleged attempted killings. Yes, that is plural.

It previously appeared that Jermela’s latest break up was sparked by a FedEx package that was late getting picked up, but it seems the real cause could have been something even more trivial. According to Jeremiah’s most recent series of posts, the whole thing began after he switched his Facebook profile photo from one of him and Carmela to one of just himself. That switch allegedly caused Carmela to give Jeremiah the silent treatment as far as text messages and phone calls, so he was left with no other option but to take to Facebook to fight it out.

I feel that there is SOOOO much revealed in the posts that I have no choice but to include all of Jeremiah and Carmela’s comments in their entirety (below), but I will bullet point a few of the more extraordinary claims first.

Jeremiah addresses Carmela’s injuries that were documented in the police report when he was arrested for domestic violence back in April. In the report, the officer says Carmela showed him “several large bruises on her legs and arms that were caused from the defendant striking her with a closed fist. The victim stated that the defendant strikes her on a daily basis.”

Here’s how Jeremiah explained some of Carmela’s injuries — I hope he is referring to the same bruises as the ones documented on the day of his arrest:

You love to tell people that I’m the one that’s always so wrong but tell him how you got the marks on your arms tell them that there was Witnesses here the night you were going to smash Malachi’s phone with a hammer and I came from behind and I grabbed your arms so you wouldn’t do it

And I ended up leaving you alone so you could smash the phone and you would not stop until it was done

Or tell them about the bruises on your legs where I was sitting in the car trying to have my alone time to calm down cuz we were arguing and you kept sticking your legs in while I was shutting the door and that’s how those bruises got there and you even admitted it to Steve Dawn and Brian

Jeremiah then turns the tables by accusing Carmela of bruising (and “slashing”) him!

Or what about the pictures of you slashing my hand or the bruises on my body of you throwing sh!t at me or the pictures of the house while me Dawn and Steve when Jacksonville you broke a lot of sh!t trashed entire house and then later on you did it again

There are also two separate entries in which both Carmela and Jeremiah describe an incident where one person tried to kill or threatened to kill the other:

And there’s another gun that Jeremiah suggests might be connected to an unsolved murder case in Portland, Oregon!?

But talking about guns let’s talk about the one you were hiding for one of your friends who use the gun to kill somebody else and there still an unsolved mystery in Portland. Watch How soon this comment gets delete it

I’m honestly speechless here. I would normally say that I am just glad no one was seriously injured, but apparently that is not the case because not only were Carmela and Jeremiah seriously injured, but someone in Portland was killed?! I cannot believe Carmela had young children living in this environment, and I cannot believe that Jeremiah’s ex-wife allows him to have unsupervised visits with his kids if what they are describing is accurate. (And no, I will not accept any excuses like “We never shot at each other or slammed each others’ limbs in car doors while the children were around.”)

Carmela is currently in Washington state for a funeral, so thankfully she and her children are just about as far from Jeremiah as physically possible, without leaving the country. Although I’m sure she will have to return to Florida at some point to handle issues surrounding their divorce, which looks like it will be anything but amicable.

OK, I will step out of the way now and let Jeremiah and Carmela speak for themselves. Then, toward the end, commenters enter the conversation as well — including Carmela’s aunt.
