Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian reality show is confirmed
Keeping Up With The Kardashians is bound to hold the world record for most spin-off series in realty TV history, and, earlier today, the family officially announced yet another, starring Rob Kardashian and his pregnant fiancée Blac Chyna!
KUWTK Network E! made the announcement in a press release, revealing that the show is tentatively titled Rob & Chyna, and will be a six-episode, one-hour docuseries following “the whirlwind romance of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna as they prepare for the birth of their first child.” The press release also revealed that there will be an additional special “celebrating the birth of their baby following the series’ run.”
More from the press release:
E! has greenlit the new docuseries Rob & Chyna, a look inside Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s lives on the heels of their engagement and pregnancy news. The one-hour, six-episode series is produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions and Bunim/Murray Productions and will premiere on E! later this year, followed by a special celebrating the birth of the newest Kardashian.
The couple will openly share their new life while setting up their new home and preparing for their first child together.
“Very few love stories have created as much pop culture buzz as Rob and Chyna’s, and we are thrilled to see Rob in such a happy place,” said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming & Development, E! “We are excited to share the next chapter in their relationship.”
There have been reports of a potential Rob and Blac Chyna reality show dating all the way back to March, and a follow up report last month strongly indicated the two would be headed to the small screen soon.
Rob & Chyna will join a list of other Kardashian spin-off shows, including Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Khloe & Lamar, Kourtney, Khloe Take the Hamptons, I Am Cait, Dash Dolls, Kocktails With Khloe, Kris Jenner’s talk show Kris, Sex with Brody, and the upcoming Khloe Kardashian hosted makeover series Revenge Body.
