Things seemed to be going so well for Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans as she and fiance David Eason welcomed their daughter Ensley earlier this year and have been making preparations for their wedding later this month. But Jenelle’s issues with her mother, Barbara Evans, and ex, Nathan Griffith, have continued to escalate — with allegations of child abuse, drug use, and more being thrown about not only on social media, but also in the courts. All of it must have been too much for Jenelle, because she seemingly snapped and posted a lengthy tirade of tweets expressing her frustration, before quickly deleting most of them.
All of Jenelle’s deleted tweets are included below, but first, here is a bit of a recap for context:
Nathan Griffith’s mother, Doris Davidson, filed an emergency custody order for her grandson Kaiser on September 1. In the court filing, Doris suggests Kaiser may have been abused by Jenelle and/or Nathan, as evidenced by bruises he received while in their care. In addition, Doris alleges that Jenelle and Nathan have not been taking care of Kaiser’s health after he was prescribed a nebulizer for congestion earlier this year.
Doris also reveals that Jenelle and David’s daughter Ensley tested positive for THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, when she was born. That positive test sparked a CPS investigation that lasted for weeks and also saw Jenelle and Nathan test positive for drugs.
Jenelle issued a statement about the abuse allegations, and pointed the finger at her mother as the source of all the problems. “I can tell you that they are allegations, driven by my mom, and [Doris] didn’t get her emergency custody,” Jenelle said. “That speaks for itself.”
Jenelle posted a series of tweets insisting that “the truth will come out” in regards to the allegations made against her and David wy Doris, but she didn’t specify what that truth is. I am assuming this was under the advisement of her attorney.
Usually quiet when it comes to the media, Barbara has since added Radar Online to her speed dial, and she has been VERY vocal about her frustration with Jenelle and disdain for David. “She’s self-centered and selfish, and so is he,” Barbara said this week. “Jenelle does nothing but lie,” she adds. “Everything that you read about her is all lies. I’m sick of her lies. I’m sick of her accusations. She’s so mean. She infuriates me.”
Barbara also talked about Doris’ accusations, and it does appear that the grandparents are on the same team. “Doris is not dropping this. She told me, ‘I’m sick and tired of this. I’m not going to tolerate this. No one is going to abuse my grandchild,’ and I told her, ‘I’m right with you, he’s mine too.’”
Barbara’s most recent public comments were apparently the straw that broke the dam holding Jenelle back on social media because she unloaded with a since deleted Twitter rant expressing her frustration and revealing that she is “extremely depressed” because of everything that is happening. The rant began after Jenelle posted the simple tweet: “Some people hate to see you do good.” The responses were mostly negative, accusing Jenelle of not “doing good” (or not “doing well,” as many clarified).

Yes, CPS has been here and case closed every time. There’s a lot they are concerned about with the OTHER parent. This is why it was a “race” to court. My son was not being treated right on his visits so when I expressed that… it was a race to court. We are handling this

David is the best thing that’s ever happened to me and my mother can’t seem to get over that… she going to tell you all EVERYTHING she can that’s bad in any way about David to ruin his reputation becuz I completely cut her out so she’s lashing back at me by posting articles and selling stories about her own daughter because it’s a scream and cry for attention but I don’t care. ??
Now she’s going to also bring up evidence of the past that would have been used against me in court and giving all the info to my exs mom. She doesn’t have a damn thing to do with my kids either… she knows nothing about my life and hasn’t visited since MARCH! Doesn’t ask ?

Jenelle’s last tweet in the series was a reply to someone who wrote: “David is weird though and seems like he has some issues.” Jenelle responded by asking: “Doesn’t EVERYONE have issues?! ?”
Jenelle would later delete all of the tweets above except for the one in which she reveals she is extremely depressed, and the final reaction tweet about David having issues.

We spoke with a source close to the situation to get some clarification about what Jenelle means when she says it was “a ‘race’ to court” with Doris. Our source says that Kaiser had bruises on his posterior after returning home from a stay with Doris and Nathan in late July while Jenelle and David were attending a Sam Hunt concert. According to our source, Jenelle called CPS about the marks, and they documented them with photographs. Jenelle was instructed to contact them if anything similar happened again.
Jenelle and Doris got into a heated discussion over the alleged abuse (by both sides) and Jenelle planned to file an official abuse claim, but Doris beat her to it.
Our source also reveals that Doris and Barbara began their bonding while Jenelle and David were in Los Angeles for the MTV Video Music Awards. Since Jenelle was not allowing Barbara to see Kaiser, Doris extended an invitation to Barbara to visit with him while he was in her care.
Since her Twitter outburst, Jenelle has remained quiet on social media. She and Doris are scheduled to appear in court on October 2. Meanwhile, she continues to prepare for her wedding, which will be at her and David’s new home on September 23. I cannot imagine what her stress levels are like right now. I’m guessing the MTV cameras are pretty much going 24/7 right now, so we will all see soon enough.
