VIDEO Kirstie Alley calls former Scientologist Leah Remini a repulsive bigot

Leah Remini - Kirstie Alley - Scientology Feud

Kirstie Alley didn’t mince her words when talking about former Scientologist Leah Remini on The Howard Stern Show.

“I think that is the most repulsive thing that a person can do is attack another person’s faith,” said Kirstie, a long-time Scientologist, told Howard of Leah.

As Radar Online previously reported, Kirstie was livid with Leah for speaking out about the church. Probing her about those reports on Wednesday’s program, Howard asked whether she was upset that Leah left Scientology or just that she was speaking out against the religion.

“First of all, I just want everyone to know that I have hundreds of friends who have come into Scientology and left Scientology… You’re not shunned, you’re not chased. All that stuff’s bullis**t,” Kirstie said. “However, when you are generalizing and when your goal is to malign and to say things about an entire group… when you decide to blanket statement that Scientology is evil, you are my enemy… I have blocked her on Twitter. Because she’s a bigot!”

Here’s Kirstie Alley’s complete interview with Howard Stern…

Since leaving the Church of Scientology last summer, Leah has spoken publicly the issues that led to her departure.

“I believe that people should be able to question things,” the King of Queens actress said in July. “I believe that people should value family, and value friendships, and hold those things sacrosanct. That for me, that’s what I’m about. It wouldn’t matter what it was, simply because no one is going to tell me how I need to think, no one is going to tell me who I can, and cannot, talk to.”

She later fueled speculation she was pushed out of the church for asking too many questions about leader David Miscavige’s wife by filing a missing persons report for Shelly Miscavige. LAPD authorities said Leah’s concerns about Shelly’s whereabouts were “unfounded.”

Even though the LAPD’s investigation appears to have satisfied Leah’s desire for questions about Shelly, Leah is reportedly still working on a tell-all book about the Church of Scientology.
