Mob Wives renewed? Season 7, multiple spinoffs a possibility
There’s no official word yet about Mob Wives renewed for a Season 7, but fans of the hit VH1 show were offered a glimmer of hope thanks to a recent retweet by show star Karen Gravano. Additionally, several cast members–including Drita D’Avanzo–have been at the center of Mob Wives spinoff rumors, and it looks like at least one of them might be continuing the show’s legacy.
Karen has been extra chatty with fans on social media over the past few weeks, thanks in part to her ongoing Twitter feud with Drita and Brittany Fogarty. One thing she’s kept silent about, though, is the coming end to the Mob Wives legacy. The show is set to air its series finale this coming Wednesday, and there’s only a two-part reunion special to look forward to after that.
So fans hoping for Mob Wives renewed news took notice when Karen recently retweeted the following:
@ChiaraSoprano1 @KarenGravanoVH1 Yes it is..lol. I hope another network picks up the show. It is my only guilty pleasure.

There was no extra information with the retweet. However, a recent Inquisitr article points out that Drita has seemed fed up with the cast this season, and her participation in a Mob Wives Season 7 might be doubtful. Additionally, the number of loose ends left to tie up this year–Brittany and Marissa hate each other; Karen and Drita are only speaking to each other in insults; and Renee “wants nothing to do” with Drita or Brittany–seem to suggest that the show might end on a series of down notes, assuming the reunion special provides more of the same.
At the same time, we recently reported that a Mob Wives spinoff, starring Drita, appears to be more than just a possibility. The retweet that sent her fans into a tizzy appeared to offer a bit more potential than Karen’s:
Good news today that I needed to hear…looking forward to life after #MobWives #DramaFree #Hosting #Music #ScriptedSeries — Drita Davanzo (@DritaDavanzo) March 2, 2016
For now, though, Drita has more on her mind than any Mob Wives renewed rumors. She spent the weekend visiting with fans and with family of Big Ang’s, as the late Mob Wives star’s official memorial was unveiled on Staten Island:
#RIPAng Today was beautiful…an amazing family!!! @janinedetore
