Kim Kardsahian has admitted to being a hypocrite because of some of the things she’s told her sister Kourtney Kardashian, who has had two children out of wedlock and doesn’t see the need to get married.
In an upcoming television special called Ryan Seacrest With the Kardashians: An E! News Presentation, Kim says “I’ve said some things that I completely am, like, a hypocrite about now. I would say things about Kourtney like, ‘You cannot have a baby without being married!'”
Kim recently told Cosmopolitan “I was really firm and strict. But she was like, ‘Marriage isn’t what I want.’ And later, I realized she had a better family life than I did.”
Despite all the tabloid drama surrounding Kourtney and boyfriend Scott Disick, she does seem to have a stable and happy life with her two kids Mason (3,) and Penelope, (9 months.)
It definitely shows some character for Kim to see herself as a hypocrite. As Kim herself has hopefully learned by her public marriage debacle, love and family life is not about the legal contract or the lavish ceremony: it’s about the health of the relationships.
Kim’s divorce from Kris Humphries has finally been settled, so she can be free to marry her baby’s father Kanye if she wants. I have a feeling that if they do get married, it will be a quiet affair. Some pictures may get sold, but I’m sure Kanye probably wants to steer clear of the kind of circus surround Kim’s doomed wedding to Kris Humphries.
She definitely seems more laid back about the whole marriage thing, telling Cosmo “[Marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don’t have this sense of urgency about it. I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me.”
