Is Remy Ma having another baby? She reveals plans for IVF treatments, says money is no option
Remy Ma’s calm determination has been a source of inspiration to Love and Hip Hop New York fans since the devastating news of her ectopic pregnancy broke earlier this year. Shortly after revealing on camera that she and Papoose lost their unborn child, Remy took to Instagram to thank the show’s fans for their outpouring of support.
Remy also made plain her intention to get pregnant again, no matter what the financial or emotional cost. “God has the last say so,” she said. And, in a note both funny and confident, Remy thanked the surgeon who operated on her, telling him “don’t retire yet cuz once we find the right in vitro dr you have to deliver my babies.”

Remy has brought the IVF option up several times since her pregnancy episode aired. And the reason why, as she shared during a stint guest-hosting The Real, is that the ectopic pregnancy featured on LHHNY was actually the second one that Remy has suffered. The first came when she was only a teenager.) In vitro fertilization is thus the only way for Remy Ma to get pregnant again–and it’s something she recently confirmed she’s about to try.
“We’re going to do IVF,” Remy told In Touch, adding, “We’re working on it.” Remy further explained that she and Papoose’s financial situation puts them in a more hopeful place than most people who try IVF, and that they intend to take full advantage of it. “IVF is minimum 12, 15, maybe $20,000, but I have it. I didn’t even think about it,” she said. “When I was talking to other women, I realized the average person that this happens to, they don’t have 12, $15,000 for it—and that’s only one. Most people need multiple procedures.”

Remy didn’t say whether she’ll let her attempts at another pregnancy feature in future episodes of Love & Hip Hop New York. But she did also share that talking to other women about her medical issues helped her get over them: “But once I started talking to other women, it became apparent to me that this was something that was important to me and that I felt like I needed to get out there, because so many women go through it and they don’t talk about it.”
As for Remy and Papoose, it sounds like their love for each other is stronger than ever. Remy recently showed it in Valentine’s Day shout-out on Instagram:
