After three low-rated seasons, it looks like Bravo finally pulled the plug of Real Housewives of Miami. The show was the least popular in the Real Housewives franchise, earning even fewer viewers than Real Housewives of D.C.
The Real Housewives of Miami is returning to Bravo in less than two months and along with a couple of casting changes comes two weddings, an arrest and a wild bachelorette party. The new season is jam-packed with drama and is sure to be the most memorable yet.
During the first Season of Real Housewives of Miami, we saw Marysol Patton marry Phillippe Pautesta-Herda in a romantic Aspen wedding. By the time the second season was filming, though, the pair had already split. They decided to divorce by the season finale, and viewers never really got to see them as a couple.
At some point on camera fellow castmate Lea Black made a comment about Marysol and Phillippe’s marriage being a green card marriage, and that comment became a source of sore debate in the Season 2 reunion show.

The Real Housewives of Miami are back for a second season this fall on Bravo. Marysol Patton, Lea Black, and Adriana de Moura will be back from season 1, and there are a few new faces as well. In fact, there are four hot new ladies joining the original three women with Alexia Echevarria and fan-favorite Mama Elsa also having several guest spots. Along with the premiere date, Bravo has released plenty of info about the new additions as well as a drama-filled trailer!
It was announced in February that Real Housewives of Miami would be back for a second season. After a so-so first season, Bravo has made some big changes including giving two housewives the boot and adding four more! The show will also have some new guidance — the producers behind Bethenny Frankel’s spin-off are taking the reigns.
An insider source for The Miami Herald is reporting that a 2nd season of the maligned Real Housewives of Miami is probable but with some serious revamping and cast changes. Lea Black is one of the 6 upcoming Bravolebrities that will comprise the cast of The Real Housewives of Miami. In a previous post I introduced our readers to her husband Roy Black a renowned attorney from South Florida. His most famous trial was the rape defense of William Kennedy Smith back in ’91.
