One week after Kim Kardashian’s interesting maternity photos for CR Fashion Book were released, we’re getting a behind-the-scenes look at Karl Lagerfeld’s creative process.
The video was shared by CR Fashion Book, which published the high-fashion photos. The 96-second clip notes the shoot took place in Paris on May 22, “The day before Kim Kardashian eight months pregnant… Is allowed to fly back to L.A.”
Unfortunately, Jimmy Kimmel doesn’t pop out at the end to say it was all a prank.
Kanye West, who many believe is the driving force behind Kim’s high-fashion transformation, linked to the video with an additional behind-the-scenes picture.

Since the photos were released last week, they have been largely trashed on social media.
“Loathe: Kim Kardashian in CR Fashion Book. There are so many things wrong with this photo shoot and magazine cover,” said one style fan on Twitter.
Still, Carine Roitfield, editor of CR Fashion Book and the former editor of French Vogue, defends the avant-garde pictures.
“I think people are very tough in fashion,” Carine told The New York Post. “This is not something for a gossip magazine that goes into the trash. This is a magazine that is a collector’s item.”
