Remember that complicated and fiery twerking fail video from last week that swept the internet, and made you feel all kinds of things inside? It was a big fat fake!
Last night on his show Jimmy started a straight interview with Caitlin Heller, the girl in the video, but soon revealed it was all a big prank concocted by Jimmy himself! The sham is revealed when walks behind a curtain and suddenly appears on video with Caitlin, who is supposed to be Skyping with him long distance.
In the “full director’s cut” of the vid, Jimmy Kimmel comes in with a fire extinguisher to save Caitlin from burning alive.
Brilliantly done, Kimmel. He says they put the video up two months ago with the title “Worst Twerk Fail EVER – Girl Catches Fire!” (pre-Miley Cyrus VMA fiasco) and didn’t tell anyone about it: no TV stations, no websites, nothing. After it finally caught on, the video’s view skyrocketed, and it’s currently getting close to 10 million views.
It turns out Caitlin isn’t even Caitlin! She’s a stuntwoman named Daphne Avalon. Thank goodness they got a professional to do upside-down twerking that ends in fire.
