MTV is introducing two new moms to Teen Mom: Young And Pregnant, including 18-year-old Kiaya Elliott from Portsmouth, Virginia. We previously profiled Kiaya with information about her son Amour and girlfriend Teazha, but we didn’t have any information about Amour’s dad. Thanks to a new extended preview clip from MTV, we can fill in some of those blanks.
Kiaya hooked up with a guy named X’Zayveon while on a break from Teazha (pronounced Tee-ay-zuh) due to Teavha’s cheating. Kiaya got pregnant after just a few dates, but she left X’Zayveon and got back with her girlfriend Teazha. X’Zayveon would end up being arrested, and he is currently in prison in Virginia.

I’m Kiaya. I’m 18. This is my girlfriend Teazha and we’ve been dating for two years. She and I were high school sweethearts. We’re best friends and she’s my first love.
But then I found out she was cheating on me, and I broke up with her. That was right around the time that my dad passed away, so it was a really sensitive time for me.
In the midst of me and Teazha not talking, I met X’Zayveon. I just thought X’Zayveon was really, really cute. I had never, like, really dealt with a boy before.

It’s still shocking that I’m about to be a mom. X’Zayveon’s been in and out of trouble, and he’s currently in jail. I knew of X’Zayveon’s lifestyle, but I didn’t really care because I had no intentions of being with him, and I had no intentions of having to deal with him for, like, the next 18 years.
Then Teazha started coming back around. She apologized and made a lot of promises. She’s made it really clear to me that she wants to treat him as if he was hers, and I’m really grateful for that because she really doesn’t have to.
I haven’t spoken to X’Zayveon since he’s been in jail, so I’m trying to work as much as possible to save money for the baby.
X’ZAYVEON ARREST DETAILS
According to court records, X’Zayveon was arrested on August 18, 2018. That was just four months before his son was born. X’Zayveon was initially charged with three felonies and three misdemeanors, including possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and eluding police. The three misdemeanor charges were not prosecuted, and one of the felonies was amended to a lesser felony charge.
Here are X’Zayveon’s charges and dispositions:
GUILTY:
• Possession of a Firearm (Under 18) – FELONY
• Nonviolent Felon In Possession of a Firearm – FELONY – Amended to: Felon In Possession of Weapon or Ammunition (Not Firearm) – FELONY
• Possession of Marijuana With Intent To Distribute – FELONY
NOT PROSECUTED:
• Possession of Handgun or Assault Firearm Under 18 – MISDEMEANOR
• Eluding / Disregarding Police Signal – MISDEMEANOR
• Carrying a Concealed Weapon – MISDEMEANOR
X’Zayveon was convicted of the three felonies on February 7. He received five years for each of the convictions, which I assume he is able to serve concurrently. (I could not get specific details on his sentencing or a projected release date.)
UPDATE – A spokesperson for the facility told Radar Online that X’Zayveon has a release date set for January 9, 2023.
Prison records indicate that X’Zayveon had a parole hearing in July, but he was not approved. “The Board concludes that you should serve more of your sentence prior to release on parole,” was the conclusion.
Here are the reasons for X’Zayveon’s parole denial:
• Extensive criminal record.
• Serious nature and circumstances of your offense(s).
• The Board considers you to be a risk to the community.

UPDATE – X’ZAYVEON IS OUT!
X’Zayveon recorded some video footage as part of Kiaya’s casting tape, but I do not know if he was filmed at all by MTV. It sounds as though Kiaya doesn’t really want to have much to do with him, but it will probably be difficult for producers to resist a prison visitation scene.
Even if X’Zayveon is not filmed by MTV this season, you know that producers are excited to film his eventual release, which will most certainly cause A LOT of drama for Kiaya!
