For the first time since his split from Kourtney Kardashian was confirmed this week, Scott Disick returned to social media with one simple message:
“Come party with me,” he said, promoting his hosting gig at 1OAK in Las Vegas this Friday.
Some argued the message is especially crude because today is Disick’s daughter’s third birthday, yet he hasn’t mentioned that.
Even though he didn’t seem to skip a beat after what many would consider to be a devastating split, several of Scott’s friends told People he’s in deep denial — and they’re worried the breakup will mean Scott now has “no real incentive” to “get himself together.”
“Scott insisted that his drinking is under control, that he’s not in a spiral, but everyone around him knows the truth,” one insider said. “He has been lying to everyone, saying that he’s clean and sober… and he insists that he doesn’t have a problem.”
Even though Kourtney stood by him for years while he struggled with alcohol and went to rehab, she reportedly drew the line last weekend after seeing pictures of him on vacation with an ex-girlfriend.
“It was the last straw,” another source told People. “The bottom line is Scott threw this away. It’s too bad.”
