Perez Hilton’s mother files for custody of his 3 kids, Perez consents

Perex hilton's mother Teresita Lavandeira files for custody of his three children

Three days after blogger Perez Hilton’s disturbing self-harm TikTok live stream, his mother filed for temporary custody of Perez’s three children.

Miami-Dade County court records indicate Teresita Lavandeira filed a Petition for Temporary Custody on Friday, August 7. In addition to the petition filing, she also filed a motion asking that the proceedings be made private.

Page Six was the first to report on the custody filing and the news outlet revealed Perez Hilton gave his consent.

“I realize that by signing this document, I am consenting to the Petitioner having temporary legal custody of the minor children and that such temporary custody is in the best interest of the children,” Perez stated in the filing.

In her request to seal the case from the public, Teresita argued that her son “is a public figure and the media has been surrounding his home for days on end.” She added that “the children in this case should not be subjected to any further trauma related to the incidents that are the basis for the Petition.”

Teresita also stated that sealing the case would help the family “privately heal and move forward from this very unfortunate incident.”

Teresita’s attorney issued the following statement to Page Six:

My main concern and objective, as well as the family’s, is to protect the children and make sure they are safe. We want them to have some sense of normalcy as they begin their journey of healing after the tragic events that occurred last week.

Perez’s children are son Mario (13) and daughters Mia(11) and Mayte (8).

Perez Hilton remained hospitalized under Florida’s Baker Act over the weekend. His family has stated he will need surgery to address injuries sustained during the live stream incident.
