Jenelle Evans reacts to her pregnancy being confirmed via police accident report
Last night it was finally confirmed that Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is pregnant again after more than two months of speculation. The confirmation came in the form of a police accident report after Jenelle’s boyfriend David Eason rear ended another driver with Jenelle in the passenger seat on July 6. It states in the accident report that Jenelle informed police officers that she was “at least ten weeks pregnant” at the time. (Please read the note at the bottom of this post for clarification on just how far along Jenelle might atually be.)
Jenelle has adamantly denied the reports that she is pregnant on social media, and she called the original source for the story (The Ashley’s Reality Roundup) a liar. As you might imagine, there were a lot of folks curious to see how she would react to the news getting out in such a bizarre and unexpected way.
Initially, it seemed as though Jenelle was unusually calm:
Everyone cares about my life like it's theirs. #Annoying ?

Later, Jenelle doubled down on her accusations on Twitter after The Ashley openly wondered if she would be receiving an apology from the reality star:
Moments ago, Jenelle really expressed her frustration as she shared some very nasty comments about her current pregnancy followed by her amazement that no one seemed concerned about her health after the accident, and that people seemed to be thrilled for her co-star Chelsea Houska, who announced earlier this week that she is currently pregnant with fiance Cole DeBoer:
“So sad.” “Disappointing.” “She should have her tubes tied.” “Did she have a miscarriage or is she still pregnant?!” “3 baby daddies!”
These are only some hate comments I have been receiving since yesterday. I don’t understand what is “disappointing” or “sad” ?! Why not ask if I’m ok from the car accident?! Why not be concerned about my health?! I want privacy. All of you disgust me. It’s all about gossip these days… Funny someone else comes out with news they are pregnant and the world is overjoyed.
And everyone wonders why I’m so private lately?! Because all of you are up my ass and so nosey it’s unbelievable. ?? #F**kOff
Jenelle shared a cap of her Facebook post above on Instagram and added the caption “I’ll talk when I want to talk. #F**kOff with a middle finger emoji.
UPDATE – It seems Jenelle’s other Teen Mom 2 co-star, Kail Lowry, has somehow found herself in the middle of Jenelle’s path o’ wrath:
Jenelle’s comments weren’t in direct response to any of Kail’s tweets, and the only thing in Kail’s Twitter timeline that could have drawn Jenelle’s ire was a retweet of The Ashley stating “#TeenMom2 fans…stay tuned” prior to her publishing the story about Jenelle’s pregnancy confirmation. So, Kail wouldn’t even have known what the story was going to be about. (As an example, The Ashley teased a Teen Mom 2 story earlier in the day that turned out to be about Jeremy Calvert’s plans to launch his own clothing line.) It’s possible there was a tweet and deleted by Kail, or perhaps something went on that we weren’t privy to? This one might remain a mystery…
On a side note, I wanted to share some info that a labor and delivery nurse posted on Facebook in reaction to the accident report. She pointed out that “if you are at least 10-12 weeks you come straight up to our unit after a car accident. But if you’re less than 10-12 weeks only the ER sees you.” She suggests that the accident report listing Jenelle as “at least 10 weeks pregnant” was just to make it clear that she crossed that qualifying threshold, which would mean that she could be further along — perhaps much further along. I suppose we will know for sure before too long.
On another side note, I have a feeling that Jenelle’s Instagram advertisement for Flat Tummy Tea, in which she used her pregnant belly in the before-and-after photos, is going to stir up A LOT of controversy now that it has been confirmed Jenelle was pregnant at the time she made the post. And there’s no way Flat Tummy Tea could support the implication that it will make your pregnant belly disappear, right? Here’s the original post:
To Jenelle’s credit, she doesn’t actually specify which is the before and which is the after photo. Although I’m guessing Flat Tummy Tea wouldn’t like either way of looking at it.
