Cowboys QB Tony Romo engaged to Candice Crawford

The AP has confirmed that injured Dallas Cowboy QB Tony Romo has gotten engaged to his girlfriend Candice Crawford.

Crawford is a former Miss Missouri and a current sports reporter for KDAF-TV in Dallas.  The station reported that Romo proposed to her during a celebration of her 24th birthday on Thursday.  No date has been set for the wedding as of this post.

Romo previously had a highly publicized romance with pop singer Jessica Simpson.
