CONFIRMED At least one couple got engaged at the Love & Hip Hop New York reunion

Love & Hip Hop New York reunion 2017 2

Love & Hip Hop New York Season 7 is leading into its final stretch of episodes, and the reunion taping is in the rearview mirror–which means the time is right for reunion spoilers to start leaking out! We recently reported on the first batch, which included rumors of a huge fight between Yandy and Mendeecees’ baby mamas (and possibly some members of the audience); Cardi B and Asia getting into it one more time (and Asia getting hit in the face with Cardi’s shoes); and what might be the final showdown between Amina, Tara, and Peter. But buried in the middle of all that drama came a hint of a surprise engagement during the taping itself.

Now, DJ Drewski and Sky Landish have confirmed that they did in fact get engaged during at the Love & Hip Hop New York reunion 2017, and are tentatively open to the possibility of having their wedding filmed for the show! “Thats something we would have to think about,” Drewski told Hollywood Life. “We don’t mind giving people our life, letting them in, but there are certain things that I like to keep secret. That’s something I have to think about.”

As for a venue, Sky said she’s had something picked out for years. “There is a room that overlooks the entire Central Park, it’s called the Appel Room in the Lincoln Center.” But, as Sky went on to suggest, the cost might force she and Drew to take their time planning. “You can’t rent it–you have to donate at least ten grand to the Lincoln Foundation. [And] after you do it you have to pay people to come in and revamp the entire setting.”

After you see this view, though, you’ll likely be begging the couple to let VH1’s cameras into the reception:

Of course, as Drew noted elsewhere, Sky is currently ringless, since the *official* official word of their engagement won’t come until the reunion airs in March. But the bride-to-be has been teasing the reveal on her Instagram feed:

Congrats to the happy couple! Hopefully we can get a big Ray J and Princess-style wedding extravaganza to culminate a successful Love & Hip Hop New York Season 8 🙂
