Bobbi Kristina Update: Why won’t the coroner reveal the cause of Bobbi Kristina’s death?

The coroner has discovered the Bobbi Kristina cause of death, but is keeping it a secret–for now. Why? It’s presumed that a murder investigation is imminent, and speculation about the case is rampant.

According to new developments, the Fulton County Medical Examiner has identified the exact cause of Bobbi Kristina’s death, and has named that cause in an official report. However, a judge has ordered Bobbi Kristina’s records kept sealed–because a leak could threaten the search for new evidence in what’s believed to be a highly secretive and potentially burgeoning murder investigation.

The Fulton County M.E. did say that both the Roswell GA Police Department–which originally had jurisdiction over the Bobbi Kristina case–and the much larger Fulton County PD–which has since been given jurisdiction–now both have the sealed records of the Bobbi Kristina cause of death.

Authorities from the two police departments have not commented on the case, or the cause of death development. There has yet to be an official announcement of a murder investigation into Bobbi Kristina’s case; the criminal investigation, however, has been ongoing since her January 31st bathtub discovery, and remains focused on former boyfriend Nick Gordon, who has denied all accusations of wrongdoing.

The $10 million civil lawsuit brought against Nick Gordon by the conservator of Bobbi Kristina’s estate is inching closer to a preliminary trial date, though no specific date has yet been set. Observers of that case were shocked earlier this week when Gordon, as part of his denial of all accusations of domestic abuse, acknowledged the existence of surveillance cameras around and possibly inside Bobbi Kristina’s Roswell townhouse. It’s believed that criminal investigators are seeking all recordings made on January 30th, 31st, and February 1st, during which time Nick Gordon admitted to at least one “huge” fight with Bobbi Kristina.
