In a juicy new interview with GQ, Cardi B isn’t shy about the enhancements she’s made to her body. In fact, four years ago she was so determined to have a larger backside that she engaged in a risky illegal butt injection procedure in someone’s Queens basement.
She makes the experience sound as scary and sketchy as you might imagine it to be.
“They don’t numb your a$$ with anything,” she says. “It was the craziest pain ever. I felt like I was gonna pass out. I felt a little dizzy. And it leaks for, like, five days.” ?
The then 21-year-old saw her stripper friends with bigger bottoms making more money than her so this was mostly a business decision. She was also trying to recover from romantic betrayal. Her boyfriend had been unfaithful with a girl who “had a fat, big ass” according to Cardi.

The types of illegal medical procedures can go horribly wrong and lead to disfigurement and even death. Cardi, however, was satisfied and even planned to go back to the lady for touch ups. By the time she wanted to return, however, she couldn’t because the under-the-table plastic surgeon had been arrested and jailed.
