If it seems to you like everything about Kylie Jenner’s life is a rumor these days, take comfort from the fact that you’re not wrong. We’re only *pretty* sure that Kylie is pregnant, since she’ll only tease her fans with what seem like pregnancy updates instead of actually confirming she’s with child. She’s probably having a girl? but we only know that because of Kylie’s sudden fetish for pink-filled social media posts. And Kylie recently took to Twitter to smack down a series of alleged baby bump pics, claiming that the whole lot is Photoshopped (though they kind of look legit).
Anyway, it must be time for a pregnancy palate cleanser, because the gossip du jour involves Kylie’s supposed baby daddy. Namely: Is Kylie Jenner engaged to Travis Scott? Kylie set the gossip world ablaze with a single Snapchat update yesterday, in which she flaunted the following bit of diamond-based bling on the exact right finger while driving to big sister Kim Kardashian’s baby shower:
Additionally, the intrepid folks over at the Daily Mail strung together all of Kylie’s Snapchat updates from Kim’s baby shower. The clip featuring her alleged engagement ring is the first in the bunch; the rest is a trip through the bizarre funhouse that is Kim Kardashion’s mansion when done up for a party. Feast your eyes:
Of course, this is not the first time that Kylie and Travis have been linked via engagement rumors. In what was either a rare breach of family associate protocol or proof that the news is not that big a deal, Kylie’s BFF Jordyn Woods actually went on record this past September with her thoughts on the pair’s relationship. Jordyn confirmed that Kylie and Travis are indeed thinking about tying the knot, cautioning that the couple isn’t “in a rush to get married” and adding, with just a hint of glee, that Kylie’s made it clear Jordyn will be one of the maids of honor.
However, as devotées will recall, this is also hardly the first time that Kylie Jenner has been linked to engagement rumors of any kind. This past spring, she wore an ostentatious diamond ring from Tyga (remember him?), which was apparently an apology for one of his many goofs but which was nonetheless interpreted as marriage evidence. Kylie also trolled her fans with a fake engagement ring photo last November; was said to be moving in with Tyga as a prelude to their inevitable marriage in the spring of 2016; and sparked the first round of engagement gossip by showing off the diamond ring Tyga got her for Christmas at the end of 2015.
