Now that they’ve been seen in public together approximately three times in the past forty-eight hours, the gossip world is all but ready to confirm the Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott dating rumors. Stories linking the two began to surface almost immediately following Kylie’s protracted dumping of Tyga earlier this month, though they had to do battle with a separate rumor alleging that Kylie and Drake were maybe becoming an item.
In any case, Kylie and Travis–real name Jacques Webster, Jr.–were spotted together out at Paper Mag’s Coachella party on Saturday night, and Kylie apparently held his hand while they walked over to the stage so Travis could perform, or some such. The pair also let Kendall, recently returned from a recharge in Paris, hang out with them in the VIP lounge at the Candy Crush party shortly thereafter.
And how is Tyga dealing with the strengthening stream of stories about Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott dating? According to Hollywood Life, “jealous” is the word that best describes him right now: “He is not ready to let go of Kylie yet,” said their anonymous source. “He can’t stand the thought of her being with anyone else, so the fact that she’s been hanging out with Travis is driving him nuts….his friends think it’s obvious he wants to get back together with her.”
Which may be why a seemingly innocuous article about Tyga’s net worth appeared in In Touch this week, just as the weekend of well-heeled glitz that is Coachella got underway. According to their take, Tyga is worth a healthy $12 million, or approximately 2/3 of what Kylie made in 2016 alone. The source for the figure is the dubious-looking MoneyNation, which in turn doesn’t cite a single source in creating its estimate. And if the year of actual fake news taught us anything, it’s that sources without citation are either the work of bored Macedonian teenagers or Tyga’s PR team.
