LeAnn Rimes has officially announced via her website that her marriage to Dean Sheremet is over. Her lover, Eddie Cibrian filed for divorce from him wife Brandi Glanville last week.
Rimes met Cibrian while filming Northern Lights and rumors have swirled of their affair for a while.
The singer married Sheremet, who was a dancer at the time, in 2002 when she was 19 and he was 21. Sheremet is currently taking a career change by entering cooking school in NYC this fall.
Rimes and Cibrian have recently “come out” with their relationship, openly allowing themselves to be photographed in public before any official divorce announcements were made by either of them.
Eddie’s soon-to-be ex has been since going around to publications like US Weekly slamming Cibrian and saying that LeAnn can have him. It looks like LeAnn’s going to graciously accept that offer.
