90 DAY FIANCE Molly Hopkins loses 37 pounds after divorce from Luis
90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After star Molly Hopkins is trimming down! Just three weeks after her divorce from her Dominican dad dud Luis, Molly posted several photos on Instagram showing off her nearly 40-pound weight loss!
“Not where I want to be yet, but well on my way,” Molly captioned the gallery of mirror selfies. “It is doable,” she affirms before revealing that she was “37 pounds down” at the time.
Here is a zoomed-in shot that she posted in addition to the two photos above:
Molly credits Isagenix and Teami Blends, in addition to her physical trainer Justin Hunt for the transformation.
Molly has always been a very outspoken proponent for the body positive movement, so of course there were some concerns expressed by commenters about why Molly felt like she needed to change her appearance. Here is one example:
I think you looked great at the start, in any “before” photo. We are not a number or size. Nothing wrong with trying to be your best, but i’m not for everyone thinking losing weight makes them somehow better or prettier. I’d rather see us all love ourselves, and who we are – at any shape or size.
Molly was quick to concur, but revealed that her motivation to lose weight wasn’t just about her appearance, but was motivated mostly by health concerns. “You are right,” Molly replied. “I was fine with my number but not my cholesterol number.”
Molly returned to Instagram earlier today to post another couple photos, although her weight loss journey wasn’t the message this time around so much as it was just sharing her work attire vibe for the day wearing her LiviRae Lingerie “We make fit happen” t-shirt:
Lookin’ strong!
Although you probably won’t see Molly losing the weight she mentions above on the current season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, you will see her lose a slightly more amount of weight as she sheds Luis from her life for good! Be sure to watch new episodes airing Sunday nights at 8/7c on TLC!
