A Wisconsin 1-month-old ended up in the ICU with a 0.294 BAC this week after accidentally ingesting vodka — which leads to the question: How does a baby that small have access to alcohol?

Fox 6 reports the 20-year-old mother mixed the baby’s formula with water from an opened water bottle. Except, the “water” was actually vodka that was replaced in the contained by the dad. The mom didn’t notice anything was wrong until the baby started to go red in the limbs and was acting abnormally.

The parents then got into an argument, which led to the father’s arrest on suspicion of domestic abuse and other counts. The baby was taken to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, according to The Associated Press.
