Why doesn’t Kim Kardashian’s face move?
Kim Kardashian is definitely doing something to her face. There have been whispers that she’s had plastic surgery several times because her face has appeared to change a lot over the years, but she’s denied ever going under the knife.
She does seem to try out everything else, though. She’s posted photos of herself getting a bloody “vampire facial,” shown her extensive daily contouring makeup routine, gushed about her dermatologist Dr. Harold Lancer, and got filmed getting Botox a few years ago. At the time she vowed to never get Botox ever again, but her frozen face of late seems to suggest she’s been injected with the popular treatment again. Her lips also appear fuller, so she may be getting some other injectables done.
Dr. Lancer is all about the exfoliation. He’s described his process like this: “Say, for example, you wanted to replace a tile floor. If your epidermis is the floor, then exfoliation is the gentle lifting process that breaks up the old, worn out tiles. Next you have to scoop up and sweep away the debris, for example cleansing, and finally fresh tiles have to be laid, which represent the nourish step.”
“Exfoliation creates a ‘controlled injury’, gentle exfoliation sends a message to the dermis that repair should begin and fresh cells are needed, expediting the turnover of cells in your epidermis. The controlled injury achieved by exfoliating turns back the clock by re-energising the repair process, giving skin a younger, fresher look.”
Kim has also said she gets regular Fraxel laser treatments done. Similar to exfoliation, the lasers damage the skin, and stimulate a healing process that can make the skin appear younger and fresher.
What do you think? Is Kim back on the ‘tox?
