Of Caitlyn Jenner’s 10 children, Kylie Jenner was the one who seemed to have the roughest time accepting that her parent was transgender. The first episode of Cait’s eight-part documentary I Am Cait captures Kylie’s sweet reaction when she sees Caitlyn for the first time.
“Kylie’s the one we’re really worried about,” Caitlyn said in a Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode earlier this year. “She’s having a hard time dealing with this. I do everything I can to try to stay in touch but she doesn’t want to talk about it. She’s just shut me out lately.”
“My big concern is just that we’ve had such a close relationship for so many years and my kids are everything to me. I don’t want her to go away, emotionally.”
“I do want to meet her,” says to the camera in a preview clip. “It will be a little bit uncomfortable in the beginning, but I think we’re both ready.”
