In a video that just might be of some interest to fans of The Florida State University football program I was able to come across the following shall we say “amateur” clip of former Florida Gator head coach Urban Meyer discussing the #1 ranked recruiting class for the Seminoles from Tallahassee, FL.
Meyer had an incredible run as head coach at The University of Florida including two national championships but stepped down following a sub-par year including a big loss at the hands of their cross state rival. The coach is now working as an analyst for ESPN.
Further amping up the “Nole nation” is the fact that recently dismissed Miami Hurricane head coach Randy Shannon was part of the ESPNU signing-day crew along with Meyer. They say these things are cyclical, well maybe it’s Florida State’s time again to be #1 in the sunshine state.
