VIDEO – Jack McBrayer, in character as ’30 Rock’ page Kenneth Parcell, slams NBC on ‘The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien”
January 13 was another sassy night during the last days of The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. Conan, who is punchy from all the , opened with “I’m Conan O’Brien and I’ve been practicing the phrase ‘Who ordered the mocha-cappucino grande?'” But one of the best parts of the night was when Jack McBrayer stopped by in character as Kenneth Parcell, loyal NBC page on “30 Rock.”
In the skit, McBrayer’s character was a bit uncharacteristically scathing of his dream company, NBC. He interrupted Conan’s monologue with a studio tour and described the studio as “the former home of The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.” When Conan interjected that he was still here, McBrayer corrected “The soon-to-be former home of The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. Here’s a fun fact: NBC spent more time building this studio than using it.”
Watch the hilarity below, Kenneth’s tour starts around the 1:00 mark:
