VIDEO Eminem’s strange ESPN interview

Eminem premiered a clip of his new “Berserk” music video tonight on ESPN at the halftime of the Michigan vs. Notre Dame game, and his behavior was, um, kind of odd.

The rapper stands between Brent Musberger and Kirk Herbstreit, and before he speaks he looks kind of catatonic, swaying around with his mouth hanging open. At some point Kirk can’t contain himself and bursts out laughing at Eminem’s antics, as you will see in the video clip.

It’s unclear if he was really out-of-it, or if he was doing it intentionally because when they finally ask him a question, he sort of snaps out of it and says “Sorry, live TV.” The resulting interview is pretty awkward, though.

Here’s an animated gif of Eminem during the Michigan vs. Notre Dame game in which you can see his wide range of zombie faces:

Eminem’s new album The Marshall Mathers LP 2, comes out Nov. 5, 2013.

Do you think he was faking it?
