We’ve already figured out when Real Housewives of Potomac will make its much-anticipated Season 4 debut. But who can we expect to see in the RHOP Season 4 cast? According to what we’ve learned, at least one major name will not be back — and one OG cast member will make a triumphant return.
As we wrote last week, you can expect to see Real Housewives of Potomac back on the air starting either Sunday, March 31st or April 7th. The main reason we’re not sure is that Bravo has yet to announce the RHONY Season 11 premiere date. RHONY’s last four seasons have debuted on the first Wednesday in April, and have served as a sort of kickoff to the spring Real Housewives season, with RHOP following on the first Sunday after that.
So the short version is: if Real Housewives of New York Season 11 premieres on April 3rd as we expect, RHOP Season 4 will premiere four days later, on April 7th.
And with that out of the way, we turn our attention to the rumors of the hour: the RHOP Season 4 cast talk. As of this writing, six of the show’s main cast members are confirmed to be returning. Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Monique Samuels, and Candiace Dillard are all back for the new season.
We’ve also learned that Ashley’s storyline will involve — among other things — a closer look at the sexual assault lawsuit brought against her husband, Michael Darby, late last year. (The lawsuit, brought by one of the show’s cameramen, has since been dismissed; while it was active, Michael was removed from the show’s shooting cast.)
Easily the biggest RHOP Season 4 cast news involves the addition of a familiar face. Katie Rost, who last appeared during Season 2 as a guest cast member and was absent for all of last year, will be back as at least a friend, and possibly as a full cast member as the season progresses. And Katie’s big news is of course that she’s currently pregnant with her fourth child.
Katie’s marriage to ex-husband James Orsini was quite brief, but she’s been dating a man named Jacob for a little over six months now. Since Jacob is Katie’s baby daddy, it’s possible that he’ll appear on the show this season, which, frankly, would make her return to the cast more interesting as well.
