#relatable: Savannah Guthrie accidentally swears on national TV

“Guess it’s good thing I don’t wear a mic all day.” — Savannah Guthrie

This morning Savannah Guthrie let slip the word “sh!t” on live national television, which surprisingly doesn’t happen very often. She doesn’t realize the camera is on her and live while she rifles through some notes and says the curse word quietly to herself before realizing what’s happened.



Quickly after the incident, Savannah took to Twitter to apologize. While her gaff was relatable, her apology was incredibly endearing.

“Check, check, is this thing on?” Savannah tweeted. “So sorry, guys. Thanks for being kind and understanding. And guess it’s a good thing I don’t wear a mic all day.”
