Are Dane Cook and Raquel Houghton back together? Is there a nookie tape? Did she land a plane safely in the Hudson River? Is she patient zero for the H1N1 virus, contracting it by dating a swine? For some reason the internet is a-buzzin’ over Dane’s former thang and I can’t seem to figure out why. She was on American Idol back in January and she’s pretty darned attractive, but that’s not really enough to garner the affection of the internet masses. Anybody out there know what the deal is?

Anyway, I was able to scrounge up some photos of Raquel that she posted on Twitter and even located an interview video from her appearance on American Idol:

This is really the new age of journalism! I just reported on a “story” and I have no idea what the story is! Ha! I’m imagining the late Walter Cronkite:

“Good evening. This is Walter Cronkite with breaking news. There is a huge story happening and we have photos and a video. We will update you as soon as we know what the story is and that’s the way it is.”

UPDATE! Still no news on what the story is, but I did find more photos! These are of the lovely couple at the premiere of Employee of the Month at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California in September of 2006:
