Only in America can a couple of moms from St. Louis, Missouri go from doing Lipstick n’ Laundry to starring on Nick Jr. The two stars of the recently announced show, MFF: Mom Friends Forever, are Kate White and Judi Diamond. Via NickMom:
MFF: Mom Friends Forever follows the real lives of Judi and Kate, mom best friends from St. Louis, Missouri. They’re juggling work (at a radio station and grocery store), kids (two each) and relationships (marriage and divorce), and they produce and star in a web show just for moms. In between early morning shifts, school pick ups and the endless loads of laundry, they’re living their dream of connecting with other parents … and laughing along the way.
Kate’s the mom of two handsome young men Duke and Max and she works for the very well reviewed Trader Joe’s grocery store chain. Judi Diamond is a morning DJ for country station 92.3 WIL and is also the mother of two children. NickMom provided a brief bio for each of the gals who think they’ve got what it takes to knock Dora the Explorer and The Bubble Guppies off of their perch on weekday late evenings.
Kate White MFF: Mom Friends Forever
Kate White grew up in small-town Illinois. She has the spirit of a dancer, the mouth of a sailor, and is more honest than anyone is really asking for. She considers herself a Roman candle – full of spark and fire.
Judi Diamond MFF: Mom Friends Forever
Judi Diamond is a transplant from L.A., a valley girl turned country music DJ. She’s going through more life changes than she can count, but she faces them all with a wicked wit and sexy sense of humor.
Before the partners in mom-funny landed this big-time gig they had their own thing going in the form of a web series called Lipstick n’ Laundry. Here’s a Demo Reel of what the show is like that just might give us a taste of what to expect on their upcoming TV show – but with better production of course.

It will be interesting to see how the concept of working in actual docu-series shows into the Nick Jr. rotation will work. The concept is called NickMom and it’s supposed to “celebrate momkind one funny moment at a time.” I think casting Kate and Judi was a good start. The shows including MFF will roll out Oct. 1.
