The second season of WE tv’s Love After Lockup has one of the most head-shaking story lines in the history of reality television as 28-year-old virgin Megan from Fort Worth Texas is engaged to convicted felon Michael, but Michael secretly got married to 24-year-old Sarah from Farmington, New York, who is also the mother of his child. So who will win this unenviable lottery once this ladies’ man is finally released? The question appears to be moot because, according to jail records, Michael is already back behind bars.
Michael was placed on parole on May 30 of this year, but he is currently listed as “Parolee – Held under custody,” which usually means that he violated his parole and is back in custody.
Checking court records, I found that Michael was charged with possession of narcotics on December 6, and he was arraigned December 8 with a bond set at $3,500. The charge looks to be a felony, and Michael’s next scheduled court date is December 20.
If you are curious about Michael’s criminal record, it is pretty startling. In 2007 he was arrested and charged with car jacking, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony — all of which were felony charges. Court records indicate that Michael pleaded guilty to lesser counts of all three charges, with the most notable downgrade being the armed robbery charge, which was changed to unarmed robbery.
The car jacking incident took place on June 23, charges were filed on October 11, the guilty pleas were entered on November 28, and Michael was sentenced on March 3 of 2008.
Michael was sentenced to two years each for two of the charges, and three years for the third. I do not know if they were served concurrently (stacked) or consecutively.
In 2015, Michael was charged with armed robbery, but he would later enter a plea deal and have the charge reduced to accessory to a felony after the fact. When Megan described the incident to her dad on the show, she said that Michael witnessed a beating and didn’t report it to police. Because it was not his first felony conviction, Michael received a habitual offender sentencing enhancement.
As mentioned above, Michael was most recently charged with possession of narcotics on December 6, and he is currently listed as being in custody by multiple agencies. Given that it is a felony charge and he was already a habitual offender, I’m guessing Michael will have a lot of time to pitch prison woo and court another flock of fiancées before his next release.

Michael being back in prison certainly explains the odd mood of the Twitter feud that has erupted between Megan and Sarah over the past week, with neither of the women talking as though she is currently with Michael.
