LHHATL Althea Heart arrested for battery after hitting Benzino in the head

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘s version of the Lohans is back at it again as Althea Heart was arrested for battery in California after an alleged altercation with ex Benzino at her San Fernando Valley home late Sunday night.

According to online records, Althea (real name Althea Eaton) was arrested just before midnight on Sunday and booked at 12:37 AM Monday morning in the LAPD jail in Van Nuys. TMZ‘s law enforcement sources have the scoop on what went down:

LAPD was called to Althea’s home in the San Fernando Valley to check out a domestic dispute. We’re told Althea wanted Benzino to get out, and he wasn’t cooperating.

Responding officers tried to calm things down, but LHHA‘s first couple of trouble didn’t disappoint — we’re told Althea whacked Benzino in the head right in front of the cops. She was arrested and booked for misdemeanor battery.

Online records indicate Althea posted $20,000 bail and was released early Monday morning at 5:50AM. Her next scheduled court date is March 12.

The arrest comes less than two years after the dramatic couple got into an altercation in court, leading to Althea’s arrest and ten days behind bars in Atlanta.

Althea has yet to address the arrest on social media, but Benzino seemed to suggest there was more to the story by posting a “fake news” Toy Story meme on Instagram:

Prior to that, but well after Althea’s arrest, Benzino shared this text graphic and caption:
