LeAnn Rimes considers surrogacy and adoption, needs another girl in her testosterone-filled home

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have been married for over two years and now they’re talking babies. Eddie has two sons, Mason and Jake, with ex-wife Brandi Glanville but LeAnn would love to have a child to call her own. However, with fertility issues in her family, she’s having to consider her options.

“We have a lot on our plates, but whenever I talk about kids, I’m like, ‘Let’s have one!’ I have a lot of work to do now but I’m totally ready if it happens,” LeAnn reveals in a new interview with People Magazine.

At the moment, LeAnn is preparing for the release of her controversial album Spitfire which includes tracks about her and Eddie’s affair as well as her cheating on her own husband. LeAnn will be touring the country promoting the album until the end of this year so getting pregnant now would be difficult.

For LeAnn, having children naturally may prove more difficult than she’d like which is why she’s already considering both surrogacy and adoption.

“It took my mom 12 years to have me. I hope I don’t have that [issue] but if I do, then a surrogate is something I’ve thought about,” she says. “Eddie and I have also talked about adopting. My capacity to love a child doesn’t stop at my own eggs, obviously!”

As for what sex she would prefer — if she got to chose — LeAnn says she’d love to have a daughter. “Testosterone is all around here so I need a little girl!”
