Lady Gaga tweeted that she will be a contributing writer for the renowned New York City fashion magazine V. Here is the tweet-out to all her little monsters:
That is a serious score for V but I have to admit we’re a little upset she didn’t go with Starcasm. It must have been that whole lure of the big city thing. Anyways, V Magazine was obviously coordinated and ready for this Gaga announcement as they have launched a contest in which you can be the one to illustrate Mother Monster’s image for her column! Here’s the info via V:

Rather than bore you with a run-of-the-mill author’s headshot, Gaga has asked that we hold a contest each issue in which applicants illustrate her for us! Make your best Gaga – styled as an editrix, of course – in any medium you wish: pencil, watercolor, felt tip, CGI, collage, and even sculpture will be taken into consideration!
The winner of DRAWN THIS WAY will have their illustration published alongside Gaga’s column in V71 Summer 2011. What are you waiting for?
