We’re getting our first glimpse of Adrianne Palicki on the set of the upcoming NBC TV show Wonder Woman. The producers behind this reincarnation hope that the popularity of the show from the 70’s as well as the success rate of comics turned to film will equal some serious ratings bang.
Palicki (27) is seen doing her Wonder thing as she hops cars and runs around in that most important skin tight suit originally made famous by Linda Carter. The show will also feature British hottie Elizabeth Hurley as Wonder Woman’s arch nemesis Veronica Cale. Here is Adrianne leaping and bounding as she saves the day. And did I mention the whole skin tight suit thing?
The updated plot for this new version of W.W. is described as ‘a reinvention of the iconic D.C. comic in which Wonder Woman – aka Diana Prince – is a vigilante crime fighter in L.A. but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life.” I say corporate women should now have the freedom to wear these type of costumes to the workplace. That’s the kind of change I can get BEHIND.
