Despite earlier reports that Lady Gaga had reconciled with former boyfriend Lu Carl (with some sources claiming they even exchanged vows in a secret ceremony on the Greek island of Crete!) the singer cleared up her current relationship status during an interview on The Graham Norton Show last night when she stated quite plainly, “I don’t have a boyfriend and I haven’t been on any dates recently.”
It was only last year that the 25-year-old singer gushed to Rolling Stone about Luc, saying “I’ve really never loved anyone like I loved him. Or like I love him. That relationship really shaped me.” Lady Gaga has also mentioned that Luc was the inspiration for single “Judas.” She told Britain’s MTV: “I began to write a song about an ex-lover who betrayed me, who loved heavy metal music.”

Though the split must have been a major moment in her life, Gaga was quick to poke a little fun at herself and her new-found single status later in the Graham Norton interview. “No, I’m miserably pathetic in my wedding dress.”
So why no dates for one of the most eligible bachelorettes on the planet?
“I haven’t been on any dates recently because I have been working so hard and I get very bored very quickly with men.”
Boyfriend Luc (Actually Lüc with an umlaut) may not be taking it as well if his Twitter account is any indication. Yesterday he tweeted the message “Bob Seger – Still The Same. I miss you.” with a Youtube link to the video for the song.
