Is Kat von D really dating Jesse James? A Twitter confession

A few days ago Kat Von D, the gorgeous reality tattoo pin-up girl, was spotted having dinner with the infamous Jesse James. Everyone jumped to the logical conclusion that they were dating based on Jesse’s tattoo fetish, and Kat’s bad-boy fetish.

But Kat’s publicist was quick to tell the press it that they were just “good friends” and weren’t hopping in the sack or tattooing each others’ names on their bodies.

That may have been the right PR move for Kat, but she sabotaged it by tweeting the truth. Wednesday night Kat tweeted “Yes, Jesse and I are dating,” before quickly deleting it, but celebrities should know once it gets Tweeted, it’s set in stone. That delete button doesn’t actually work when everyone has already screen capped and re-tweeted your shocking revelations.

So this little PR tale when from “that makes sense,” to “that made too much sense to be true,” to “sooo, it was true after all!”

A friend helped explain Kat’s attraction to Jesse despite his obvious philandering ways. They told PopEater‘s Naughty But Nice Rob: “Kat is totally into him. Jesse just has this way with women that makes you melt. Plus, Kat feels bad for him. He’s the most hated man in America, after what he did to Sandra, which she finds kind of sexy.”
