The Expendables, an ensemble action flick starring everyone who’s ever been in an action flick, premiered in Hollywood last night. A triumphant of distinctive masculine icons, Sylverster Stallone, Bruce Willis, and Mickey Rourke posed together for pictures. Mickey’s paisley shirt totally wins the evening, but Sly’s classic snarl is always priceless.
These three are the headliners, but EVERY male action hero is in this movie including, but not limited, to the following: Guv’ner Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jet Li, Terry Crews, Steve Austin, Dolph Lundgren, Jason Statham, and Eric Roberts.
Here’s the plot:
“THE EXPENDABLES is a hard-hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Once the mission begins, the men realize things aren’t quite as they appear, finding themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal. With their mission thwarted and an innocent life in danger the men struggle with an even tougher challenge, one that threatens to destroy this band of brothers.”
