Drew Scott–one half of HGTV’s famous Property Brothers duo–is in a long-term relationship with girlfriend Linda Phan, and the couple have been fending off marriage rumors for almost as long as they’ve been together. Recently, though, a photo Linda shared on Instagram sent waves of gossip across the Property Brothers fan community. Is it possible that Drew Scott and Linda Phan…have a child together?
We’re all coming out of the warm, post-Christmas holiday glow, which is maybe part of the reason why the “Drew Scott child” rumors took off as quickly as they did. And, to be fair, Drew Scott and Linda Phan have been together for several years–”Is Drew Scott engaged to Linda Phan?” is one of the most popular Property Brothers-related questions out there. So, when Phan uploaded this photo to her Instagram page–
–onlookers took note. Was this Drew and Linda’s way of sharing some larger, less-expected news?
It turns out, though, that the little guy in the photo above is not Linda and Drew Scott’s son; rather, he’s Linda Phan’s nephew. He pops up in her Instagram feed from time to time, often in compromisingly cute positions:

Phan, who is the Creative Director for Scott Entertainment, Drew Scott and Jonathan Scott’s production company, has teamed up with Drew for marriage-based pranks before–their April Fool’s engagement announcement inspired laughter and ire in about equal measure. In this case, unfortunately, rumors about Drew Scott’s love child were only wishful thinking from fans who hoped he was the proud papa to a secret Property Son 😉
